Admissions Practices

The Admissions Practices Committee shall review annually the Statement of Principles of Good Practice of NACAC, the NACAC Monitoring Procedures for Statement of Principles of Good Practices, and shall determine whether to submit recommendations to the NACAC Executive Board.  This committee shall also be responsible for dealing with alleged infractions as defined by NACAC guidelines.

Mission

Educate counselors and college/universities in their efforts to serve students and families about compliance with the Statement of Principles and Good Practices as part of the admissions profession.   

Expectations for Committee Members

  • Meet on a periodic basis to discuss ethical issues that have been brought to the committee's attention pertinent to the Statement of Principles of Good Practice
  • Educate members about the ethical standards governing the admission profession and the importance of compliance with mandatory and best admission practices
  • Through communication and collaboration, serve as the primary resource for secondary and post-secondary admission professionals in the state of Wisconsin to confidentially report on or inquire about ethical admission practices.
