Communications Chair

Job Description

  • Send communications through our web system (Wild Apricot)
  • Maintain communications calendar (including requests from other committees)
  • Update Job Center website and send job posting emails
  • Compile, edit, and publish the Clarion
  • Help to maintain the WACAC Facebook page

Helpful Skills

  • Good writing skills
  • Ability to proofread
  • Organization skills

Time Commitment

  • Non-Busy Time
    • 5 hours/week
  • Busy Time
    • 10 hours/week
    • Before Clarion due dates (beginning of April, August, and January)
    • Couple of months prior to the WACAC Conference (February-April)

Communications Co-Chair

Job Description

  • Works closely with the Communications Chair
  • Create a social media plan for the WACAC Facebook
  • Assist in sending WACAC Communications through out web system (Wild Apricot)
  • Help maintain communications calendar
  • Help to compile and edit the Clarion
