Job Description

  • plan at least 2 professional development workshops
    • Choose topics
    • Reserve venues
    • Find presenters
    • Oversee registration
    • Logistics

  • Event planning skills are helpful

Time Commitment

  • 4-5 hours/month
  • Busy Time: the couple of weeks leading up to the workshops

Coordinator & Instructor of the College Seminar Tour

Job Description

  • Organize the trip (including contacting schools and bus company)
  • Promote the trip
  • Create and send marketing materials
  • Oversee registration

  • Communication (schools, counselors, etc.)
  • Planner
  • Multi-tasker
  • Master Degree and teaching credentials are helpful

Time Commitment

  • Fall: Setting up schedule
  • Spring: registration
  • May/June: finalizing tour

New Counselor Institute Member

Job Description

  • Set the schedule for the institute
  • Find and communicate with presenters
  • Oversee registration
  • Communicate with participants
  • Run the institute (Wednesday-Friday during the 2nd week of August typically)

  • Planning begins in May (3 hours/week)
