On Tuesday, April 17th, join the Government Relations Committee and your WACAC board in a ‘Day on the Hill.’  The event will last from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.  During this time, you will hear about how best to speak with and advocate for our positions as a membership.  Following the ‘Advocacy Training’ you will have the opportunity to meet with your representatives.  [Do not worry, those meetings will be prearranged for you.]  During this time, all you have to do is share you experience and passion for secondary and post-secondary education.

Please direct any questions to John McGreal.

New Counselor Institute (NCI) is a great opportunity for professional development for both public and private college and university admission representatives. We will introduce the nuts and bolts of the admissions world through sessions such as: Admissions – Career v. Job, Ethics in Admissions, the ever popular Rookies on the Road, and much more! Our goal is to welcome new admission counselors (new to one year of experience) to the field and provide opportunities for networking and mentorship for individuals early on in their career.
