Want to know what prospective students are really thinking during the college search process? How about ideas that will help you craft better emails and get students to actually answer the phone. Maybe you need a better game plan for high school visits and college fairs. Come join us because we’ll discuss each of those things and a whole lot more!

During this engaging 4-hour workshop, we’ll walk you through the key insights we’ve picked up from years of working with colleges and universities on developing effective communication strategies. You’ll see actual data on how often students wanted different communications during their search, who those should come from, and which factors do and don’t matter when it comes time to make a decision. You’ll also learn why personalization is so important from start to finish; how to ask the right questions and the importance of being intentional; why it’s important to talk about things like fear; how and when to use storytelling; and best practices for different communication mediums.

The session will be led by Jeremy Tiers, Director of Admissions Services for Tudor Collegiate Strategies (TCS). An expert in communication, relationship development, and leadership, Jeremy has quickly become a familiar name and speaker in college admission and enrollment management circles. Over the past five years he has helped thousands of college admission professionals become better recruiters and leaders through comprehensive staff training workshops. Jeremy has also been a speaker at numerous NACAC affiliate conferences and has keynoted NJACAC, IACAC, MACAC, and DACAC. TCS also creates personalized email and letter campaigns that increase the engagement colleges and universities receive from prospective students and parents.

Jeremy will be joined by on-the-ground experts from colleges and universities in Wisconsin to lead specific activities in developing various communication strategies.

If you’re an admissions counselor or leader who’s looking to better understand why your outreach efforts have been successful or unsuccessful, and/or you’d like to create a better territory management plan, we hope you’ll join us. All attendees will leave with numerous tips and strategies that can be put into practice immediately.
