WACAC and the MIDWest conference planning committee is monitoring developments of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) through trusted, informative resources. At this time, we are continuing with preparations for the conference May 17-19. If plans change, we will communicate with conference attendees directly and update our website accordingly. We encourage everyone to continue engaging in best practices recommended by qualified health professionals.
If you are traveling from or through an area with community spread or with more than100 confirmed cases of the virus within 14 days of the conference, we encourage you to carefully consider your decision regarding attendance. [Note: The hyperlinks above take you to CDC data on community spread and areas with more 100 confirmed cases.]In the coming two weeks, the Presidential Teams from the Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, and Dakota Affiliates will be meeting to discuss and determine a refund policy for the conference should anyone be requesting one. Once that policy has been determined, we will communicate it to the conference registrants.
